The Story of Ninja Puppy

Check back for updates on the release of "The Story of Ninja Puppy" which is the brand new, updated version of Gunner's original Ninja Puppy book, written at age 5. This new book will have some beautiful new illustrations along with all of Gunner's precious original illustrations.  Release date will be announced soon! 

Gunner, age 5, wanted to be a big brother. To help him have a friend, Gunner's parents got him a rowdy, black, poodle puppy. The puppy and Gunner's fascination for Ninja's, inspired this story where the puppy embarks on a wonderful path with some very special people who come together to form a happy Ninja Family.

In the first grade, social settings often made Gunner feel nervous and act silly. One day at school, Gunner got into trouble in the lunchroom and was sent home early. His mom and dad told him to make good use of his time so, he wrote his second book, ending  with a lesson about using mindfulness to have self-control. 

Due to his fascination for Ninjas, Bigfoot and other mythical creatures, Gunner started taking hikes in the woods on his family's land and doing his own research. He used his knowledge of Bigfoot and what he knows about feeling nervous around new friends and wrote his 3rd book which was dedicated to his baby brother. 

In the 3rd grade, Gunner spent a lot of time researching Ninjas, Samurai, China, Japan, and ice cream. He wanted to write a book with great words,  friendship, and adventure. So, he wrote his fourth book, Ninja Puppy in China, which is a beautiful example of how his talents in writing and art continue to grow.  

At school, Ninja Puppy finds that teachers can have bad days too.  He and his classmates will have to get creative if they are going to help their teacher sort out whatever is causing her bad mood. Could she have a totally unexpected secret problem?

In Gunner's 6th book, Ninja Puppy and the family get trapped in a space shuttle that launches into space! As they make new acquaintances on a strange new planet, they find that they may not be able to trust all of their new friends.
